Don't think you can volunteer due to childcare issues? Swap with a friend and then shop the presale together for a girls night out! Husbands also welcome to work volunteer shifts, too!

At The Boutique Armoire, we love our volunteers! Volunteers receive the benefit of shopping first with a variety of different commitment levels. Volunteers work in a variety of ways to make the sale a success:

Assembling and arranging racks
Greeting sellers and verifying information
Security
Sorting and arranging items on racks
Working the check-out stand by removing tags and adding purchases
Straightening sales floor and returning unwanted items to their homes
Sorting remaining items at sale's end for pickup
Greeting and directing sellers during pickup
Sign Installation
Disassembling racks

1) The number of shifts you would like to work
2) Your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of shifts (shifts listed below)

If you are signing up for 2 back-to-back or overlapping shifts please make sure that you are signing up for a total of 6 hours. If your two shifts don’t equal 6 hours you won’t be able to get the 6 hour presale shopping time.

Sign Installation & Removal

We are looking for a few volunteers (husbands are welcome) to install our road signs around the sale. We provide the map, instructions and signs. You provide the vehicle, gas, and labor*. The install shift start is flexible around 12:00 to 1:00 pm and continues until all signs are installed. We will send out 2 teams of 1-2 people.

The Friday sign removal shift start is flexible around 1:00 to 2:00 pm and is also "as long as it takes." This shift is for 1 team of 2 people.

If you have any questions or are interested in sign installation or removal, please ask Susan. In the past, this shift fills up quickly.

* Remember to bring your own mallet and please wear sturdy shoes so you can easily push our metal stakes into the ground. Also, for safety reasons, please no children in the car during sign installation/removal.

Please note: we are unable to "split" shifts. Volunteers need to be able to be on their feet for 3 hours, lift and carry clothes, and do other physical activities. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your shift for instructions and to ensure a smooth transition.
